For private equity firms & platform operators

One standard. Every acquisition.

After the deal closes, Kanara puts every brand in your home services platform on one ServiceTitan or BuildOps standard. Add-ons integrate faster, portfolio reporting becomes trustworthy, and your numbers are clean when it is time to sell.

The problem after closing

Every add-on arrives with its own way of working.

Different software, different pricebooks, different job codes and different definitions of revenue. Until they share one operating standard, you cannot compare brands, move technicians between them or trust the roll-up numbers you report to the board.

Five systems, five versions of the truthServiceTitan, BuildOps, Housecall Pro, Jobber and spreadsheets side by side.
Pricing drift across brandsThe same repair priced three different ways in three markets.
Board reporting built by handFinance stitches KPIs together every month, and nobody fully trusts them.
Slow add-on integrationEach acquisition is treated as a new project instead of following a playbook.
Accounting that does not tie outField data and the general ledger disagree across Sage, NetSuite and QuickBooks.
Value creation stuck in the fieldThe margin plan depends on pricebook, dispatch and inventory changes nobody owns.

The post-close playbook

From closing day to exit, in four stages.

Each stage ends with a defined deliverable your operating partner can review. Within each stage, every ServiceTitan or BuildOps rollout follows our five-phase implementation method.

  1. First 100 days

    • Platform assessment across every brand
    • Target operating model and system standard

    • Pricebook, payroll and inventory alignment
    • Role-based training at every location

Who you work with

An operator, not just a consultant.

Lorenzo Plaath led technology for Service Experts and Enercare across more than 190 HVAC, plumbing and electrical locations in North America. He selected and implemented ServiceTitan, SAP, Salesforce and Click Field Service, and connected them to legacy systems across a multi-brand network.

For portfolio companies he acts as a fractional CTO: he sits with the platform CEO and operating partner, sets the system standard, and then does the hands-on implementation work himself.

Questions from investors

What operating partners ask us.

When do you get involved?

After the acquisition closes. We typically start in the first 100 days with a platform assessment, then support each add-on as it joins.

Our brands run different software. Can you consolidate them?

Yes. We move acquired companies from Housecall Pro, Jobber, Simpro, spreadsheets and older systems onto one ServiceTitan or BuildOps standard.

Do you work with residential and commercial brands in one portfolio?

Yes. We are certified on ServiceTitan and BuildOps, so residential and commercial companies can each run the right platform with shared reporting.

Who do you report to?

Usually the platform CEO or COO, with regular updates for the operating partner. You get a written plan, milestones and deliverables for every stage.

Can you connect field data to our ERP?

Yes. We integrate ServiceTitan and BuildOps with Sage, NetSuite and QuickBooks so field activity and the general ledger agree.

Will you sign an NDA?

Yes. We are happy to sign your NDA before the first detailed conversation about a portfolio.
